Our PurposeFounded on April 11, 2012, the Marketplace is a vehicle to promote and support programs, initiatives, and events that address the socio-political issues facing us today. Whether it is discrimination, bigotry, violence, economic empowerment, or educational disparities, our mission is to provide a mechanism for individuals to collaborate, unite, and effect change.
This Marketplace is for anyone who has an interest in fostering social awareness and social responsibility. One key area of focus is addressing the issues facing our middle school and high school students. We have a responsibility to ensure that we doing everything that we can to support them. Our Message
We live in an age of social media. Disseminating information on a large scale quickly is no longer a challenge; a video clip can go viral virtually overnight. We can leverage social media to promote social awareness and social responsibility. We can create a place where information can be shared, issues discussed, and programs promoted.
MSASR is a working website. That means that we expect you to work! Answer polls, facilitate forum discussions, and send us pictures and videos to upload to the site.
